The phases of acetate manifacturing, which in its raw form is presented in slabs, begin with the cutting, made by laser system that follows the selected geometry with extreme precision and make the material shaped in the commissioned design.
The second phase requires that the acetate is deformed to ensure the curvature necessary for the accessories to adapt perfectly to body’s shape. The thermoplastic properties of the material are used to achieve the desired design, working at temperatures that allow at the same time to bend it and to obtain a stable curvatura, thus eliminating the elastic memory of the acetate and therefore not allowing it to recover its original shape.
Tumbling is the process by which the surface becomes smooth and shiny. This process takes place through the rotation of acetate products in barrels filled with woody components, abrasive materials and oils that, eliminate surface defects by means of several passages made at controlled temperature and humidity, removing parts of matter.
Dry polishing is carried out by rotating brushes and polishing paste. During this phase the product should be placed with moderate pressure to avoid damage to the material.
The decoration phase involves the application of different elements including rhinestones, studs, laser work and enamels. They are laid by hand only by heating the acetate without the aid of glues, thanks to the physical properties of the material and the competence of our craftsmen. Each process is carried out in order to enhance the materials, taking care of every detail.
In this step the company logo is printed, which can be carried out by laser or tampography techniques on any type of surface.
Once the product is completed, it is meticulously viewed by our specialized technicians to ensure that it complies with the quality requirements. It is checked in all its facets to prevent problems that may arise with the use, and to ensure the satisfaction of the customer’s requests .
